WELCOME TO McCOMB MS

Louisiana, Mississippi's neighbor to the west on Interstate 10, is literally minutes from Bay St Louis, MS.  Having Louisiana and Mississippi so close offers tourists to this area great diversity in cultures and always something new to see and learn about the South!

Whether you are visiting or moving to the MS Gulf Coast, you will always have  a variety of flavor and choice of areas in the South to visit.  Louisiana Real Estate is bouncing back and has many great neighborhoods that are as diverse as the state itself.

Immediately adjacent to Mississippi and Louisiana state line is the parish (county) of St Tammany, which encompasses the cities of Slidell, Covington, Mandeville, Folsom, Abita Springs, Lacombe, Madisonville, and Goodbee.  These towns/cities are rich in culture and history and are a joy to visit, enjoy the cuisine and beauty of each area.

Along the Interstate 12 (I-12) corridor, which is called "the Northshore" of  the New Orleans Metropolitan area, is the parish (county) of Tangipahoa.  It's name derived from an American Indian tribe, is a parish rich in history and beautiful land, waterways and even rolling terrain in the northern end of the parish.
Once a parish dotted with small communities, it has now immerged into an eclectic area with thousands of citizens moving into the area after Hurricane Katrina.

Tangipahoa Parish is the home of Ponchatoula, Hammond, Amite City, Independence, Ticfaw, Bedico, Kentwood and Husser.  These once small communities have now developed into booming economies boasting lots of character, culture, old homes, old beautiful commercial building in their developed downtown areas with great living, eating and shopping opportunities.
The largest city in Tangipahoa Parish is Hammond, the home of Southeastern University (part of Louisiana State University system), is graced with miles of old homes, majestic Oak and Magnolia trees and the true character of an old Southern town.  Old Train Depot is adorned with hundred year old building that have been refurbished this last decade and the city of Hammond has been awarded the "Cleanest City" status for many consecutive years.  Old trade markets, open farmer's markets, festivals, celebrations, shops and restaurants can be found on every corner.  Hammond, LA is filled with some variety of fun, festive, arts, shopping, theatre, dance, old buildings, great architecture and much more.  Visit Hammond once and you will never want to leave.

Louisiana Real Estate and Tangipahoa Parish Real Estate are also booming with many homes loaded with charm, history and great prices for today's Real Estate Market! Hammond Real Estate market is fortunate to offer the perfect home, second home, investment and "dream" home for any pocketbook!
